And I'm not talking about the comic strip either! I have been on Birth control since March of this year, and I have not been satisfied! Three days periods?? Nope not for this Spinster! Try like 7 or 8 day periods, and they happen when they're not supposed to. I'll admit I haven't been able to get to the drug store this week to pick up my scrip, but its only been three days since I ran out.
I've got the kind where you don't have a period for three months, well I have had one....every month, even twice a month since I started it. I hate having a period its embarrassing and not to mention so entirely gross. Does anyone else get blood all over themselves?? After one trip to the bathroom I feel like I need to bathe in scalding hot water.
That's it get me a knife a sewing kit and a bag of ice, sorry mother, but my reproductive organs have got to go!
I have to say that I tried this bc as well, I think its called Seasonique, my body did not respond well. And after about 9 months of having irregularities I totally gave up and went back to a normal bc that allows monthly periods. My body is happier with it for sure! And I dont have many irregularities like I did with Seasonique. There was a time frame of 4 months where I had spotting like every week for a day or two, then itd go away and a month later, the same thing. I feel your frustration with this one!! You have to find one that works for your body.

ReplyDeleteYea, I had the monthly kind to before I started this, and I had the same problems. I was talking to a friend of mine and she said she had to go through five different kinds before she found one that her body responded to well. I figure since it is a completely different kind of birth control I'll do one more round, and if it doesn't regulate then I'll go back to my Doc. Thanks for reading!
